1.What is the funniest thing you remember as a child?
As a competitive dancer of 16 years, I have traveled all over the country to compete in prestigious competitions. At the age of 6, I traveled to New Orleans ready to compete one of my favorite solos. While on a riverboat tour, of course I was doing cartwheels everywhere. I dropped my shoe straight into the Mississippi River and spent the rest of the trip in a womens size 10 shoe.
2.What is the one piece of clothing you wish you owned?
An avid lover of How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, my dream piece of clothing is the iconic yellow slip dress worn by Kate Hudson. The sleek look of the slip style dress is elegant and effortless, a style I go for on a daily basis.
3.What season of the year is your favorite and why?
A native of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, summer has always been my favorite season. This is the time when friends and family come to visit, we take adventures on our family boat, and make countless memories on the sandy beaches. As I got older, we began to travel the world and I fell in love with the island of Barbados. Every summer, you will find me exploring new parts of this beautiful island.
4.What is your favorite movie?
How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days will always be my go-to movie. The term “New York State of Mind” takes on a new meaning as Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey experience life and romance in the city. Kate Hudson’s style throughout the movie is an inspiration that I look to when dressing. Her appearance throughout this movie will always be iconic.
5.What song makes you think of yourself?
“I’m Not Pretty” by Megan Moroney is a song that I always have on repeat! Listening to the lyrics reminds me that no matter the circumstances or negativity around, I will always be beautiful. I am strong in my morals and my faith allowing me to push through the negatives of life and be successful.
